Seoul Urban Design 2013 Program
The final presentation and awarding ceremony of Seoul Urban Design 2013-International Ideas Competition for Students will be held at the Seoul City Hall on 31 October and the competition winners' exhibition at the Seoul Citizens Hall Gallery on the B1 floor of the Seoul City Hall from 5 November through 8 November, 2013.
The public lecture at Seoul City Hall on 31 October will be devoted to the presentation of invited speakers, who are Dominique Perrault, a world-renowned architect, and Bill Hiller, the initiator of Space Syntax. They will cover themes related to the main theme of the Seoul Urban Design 2013, ‘toward urban integration.’ Thus, the two consecutive lectures would converge into the issue of regenerating the disconnected urban fabric.
The plenary sessions on 1 November will be held in two places in Seoul: the first two sessions in the morning at the Auditorium on the 1st floor of the Seoul Museums of History, and the panel discussion in the afternoon at the Auditorium on the 4th floor of the Seoul City Hall Seosomun Building.
